Michael Curtis, MD
Dr. Curtis completed his undergraduate education at Georgetown University and received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 2003. He completed his residency at Northwestern University/McGaw Medical Center in 2007. His interests include women’s health care, obstetrics, evidence-based medicine, prevention, and medical education. Dr. Curtis has lived in Chile and speaks Spanish.
Dhanya Puram Limaye, MD
Dr. Limaye graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia in 2004. She completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Memorial Hospital, part of Northwestern University. Dr. Limaye’s clinical interests include preventive medicine, child development, and school health. She is a board-certified pediatrician and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is fluent in English and Malayalam and has a working knowledge of French.
Mariza Marcili, APN, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Ms. Marcili received her degree from Rush University. She has practiced nursing for 23 years and worked as an advanced practice nurse for 4 years. She is currently completing a PhD at the University of Illinois, where she researches the effects of depression on the health outcomes of people with diabetes and hypertension. Ms. Marcili was born in Argentina and speaks Spanish.
Maureen McNamee, CNM
Maureen McNamee is a certified nurse midwife who had two fulfilling family-centered births. She received her bachelor’s degree from Marquette University and her master’s in nursing from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a specialization in midwifery. She has worked in high- and low-risk labor units, a birthing center, and Planned Parenthood. She also teaches prenatal education and breastfeeding. Maureen believes every woman and family deserves a midwife to walk with them through this amazing journey. She hopes to be open and accessible to her patients so they can have the experience they want for themselves.
